Hi there internet pals! I’ve got an amazing piece of fish heaped over a pan of deliciously creamy, warm risotto, and it’s ready for you to print the recipe and make it! I think you’ll be surprised when you see how ridiculously easy it is to make.

I’m trying not to totally lose my face over this beautiful rice dinner, but it’s not just the rice. It’s the FISH. It’s that delicious Garlic and Herb Tilapia that I can’t get over.

On one of my very recent 3-hour long clean-the-fridge-out escapades, I came across 3 forgotten scallops, 2 chicken thighs, and 4 pieces of Tilapia. Without much hesitation, I grabbed whatever fresh herbs I had, I also grabbed some garlic, a pan, and was on my merry way to make dinner.

Now let me tell you a bit about how to use this wonderful piece of fish to create one very exciting dinner.

This one pan risotto came to me because I honestly could not get the garlic & herb flavors out of my head. I wanted to make something quick, mess-free, but of course, it had to be delicious and something that everyone would eat.

HOW TO MAKE RISOTTO WITH GARLIC HERB TILAPIA

To get started on this one pan risotto deal, I am going to need you to grab some arborio rice + Tilapia fillets.

I will also ask you to chop up an onion, get some fresh rosemary, and throw it all together in a pan with the rice.

Vegetable broth and milk will also join the party before finally seasoning the fish and setting it over the rice.

Only thing left is to cook it in the oven for about 25-ish minutes, or until all liquid is absorbed and fish has browned on top.

The risotto sounds wonderful, but will use a better fish with it. Tilapia is really a garbage fish with no taste.

My favorite fish dish of all time is a nice hot, steaming plate of fried perch with butter and cocktail sauce.

  3. Fried fish and chips is one of my favorite meals, especially with coleslaw and cornbread. I like to order it when we go out!

  4. Growing up I would never give fish a try even though my next door neighbor was an avid fisherman. Could have been because I watching him clean the fish in his backyard all the time! Now, I love it. Smoked salmon is my favorite. I like it served over a bed of rice with a side of vegetables, asparagus or broccoli.

My favorite Fish dish is Monkfish baked with Rosemary, tomato and diced anchovies served with a dill cream sauce.

  6. My favorite fresh water fish is catfish but I also love trout and seafood such as lobster and shrimp.

  7. To be strictly honest, my favorite fish dish is one I don’t have to cook or clean up after! Ok, baked flounder.

  8. I love fish tacos with a mango salsa. My husband is perfecting his salsa recipe each week when I request them. Sounds like the Sea Cuisine fish would make life even easier by having already seasoned fish ready to pop in the oven.

This would be really great to try. I usually just use some olive oil, garlic and seasonings and cook on my stovetop but I was searching for something different and found this. I can’t wait to try it!

One time my husband and I cooked sea bass with basil infused olive oil and it was pretty darn tasty! I really want to make it again!

  11. I love baked salmon topped with my homemade basil pesto. It allows it to form a crust of sorts that has amazing flavor and texture! I’m definitely going to try this recipe too, looks absolutely delicious and healthy!

I haven’t seen this nifty seasoned fillets before, but am definitely going to keep an eye out for them. What a timesaver! Love the pairing with the risotto.

  13. I’m a sucker for blackened fish over rice. Sometimes I add some shrimp and butter sauce on top and there are never leftovers!

  14. My dad always made cedar plank salmon, even when I tried to say I didn’t like fish this always won me over. Now I can’t get enough seafood.

  16. I love pistachio crusted salmon! Had it out at a restaurant this past week and so scrumptious. Love yours with the creamy risotto. Delish fish!

  17. Honestly if you get a good Paella I love it, but grandpa’s fried walleye and sunnies were pretty great too!

  18. My favorite fish dish is honey mustard rosemary walnut encrusted flounder! So good. You can’t go wrong with a side of rice or couscous.

  19. I’m not big on seafood but I do love salmon when my brother makes it on the grill. It’s nice and smokey and not dry at all!
    thanks!

  20. We spent a few months on the Gulf Coast of Fl a few yrs. back for work. We could not get enough of the Amberjack(w/ ginger & any citrus) and Grouper Cheeks in Butter, Garlic & a dash of Old Bay Blackened.

  21. My favorite fish dish is a sweet and spicy salmon that my husband makes in the crockpot. At first I was super skeptical about making fish in the crockpot but it is amazing!

  22. the fish sounds great. I usually just pan fry my tilapia after dredging it in cornstarch. I serve it with broccoli and cheese rice.
